Hyderabad: Legislative Affairs Minister T Harish Rao today lashed out at Opposition Congress for staging a walk-out from the house on double bedroom houses scheme and welfare sector.
Speaking in in the house during clarifications on demands for grants of different ministries, the minister took exception to the Congress members for their continuous tirade on the government on the two issues. The Congress, Telugu Desam and BJP together could not win seats in the recently held by-polls and civic bodies elections. Thus the opposition has lost faith of the people who are not ready to accept their leadership, he asserted. The treasury benches do not want that the opposition members to go out of the house and seek their suggestions for fair and smooth rule, Harish stated. The Congress should come out with constructive criticism and the government is ready to take their suggestions on the schemes, he said. ‘We are committed for inclusive growth as Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is in favour of providing permanent shelter to the poor’ he added.(NSS)
