“It’s always good to go out on a happy note and it has given a great opportunity to feature again in the Champions League Twenty20 in September in South Africa. Our game today was exceptional,” said the former India captain.
Kumble, however, rued the fact that the Bangalore outfit had failed to reach tomorrow’s final and said his talented team was inconsistent through the tournament, especially against Mumbai Indians in the semifinals on April 22.
“We played pretty inconsistently in the tournament. We had quality and experience in the line up but did not do consistently well. Today we showed we are a good side.
