Guidelines for 2 bedroom scheme Announced

Hyderabad: Telangana Government today announced the guidelines for construction of double bedroom houses for the poor in the state.
In an order, the government stated that it will construct two lakh houses this financial year. It was decided to spend Rs 5.04 lakhs per unit in villages, Rs 5.30 lakh in towns and Rs 7 lakh per unit in Hyderabad. In addition the government decided to spend Rs 1.25 lakh towards infrastructure and facilities in villages and Rs 75,000 in towns of nine districts and GHMC purview. The government is constructing these houses free of cost by giving subsidy to total amount spent on each unit.(NSS)
