JNU is a den of organized sex racket –Professors

New Delhi: A group of teachers from Jawaharlal Nehru University prepared a dossier which may arouse controversy in the university circles.

The report contains 200 pages. It was prepared in 2015 by a group of 11 teachers of JNU teachers who are believed to be associated with BJP and ABVP which is the students’ outfit of the RSS. It describes JNU as a “den of organized sex racket”. This report was released to a set of selected journalists recently.

Professor at the Centre for Law and Governance, Amita Singh, Head of the group of teachers, said that sex workers inside JNU hostel messes are a common phenomenon. She alleged that the security staff are also involved in the sex racket.

The document titled ‘JNU: The Den of Secessionism and Terrorism’ also blames a few teachers of the university who encourage such activities and promote separatist culture.

The administration of JNU rusticated Research Scholars, Umar Khalid and Anirban Bhattacharya and also fined Rs. 10, 000 Kanhaiya Kumar, President of Students’ Union for their involvement in a controversial event held on the campus of the University to commemorate Parliament attack convict, Afzal Guru who was hanged.
