New Delhi: Crime against women in India seems to grow each day with news reports from rapes to trafficking, violence and abuse, various crimes where these criminals are left unpunished.
During these difficult times women granted protection under constitution is not enough to keep them safe, there has to be strict law and order which can set an example against such horrendous crimes against women where the culprits are served with serious punishments.
In a recent FIR filed by Police a 26-yr-old security guard of a tower apartments in Surajpur area, Greater Noida was arrested on Friday night after he allegedly broke into the flat of young engineer and assaulted her.
The Police caught hold of the accuse Raj Kumar from Hathras who went on hiding after he attempted rape. The guard broke into the engineers flat around 10.30 pm but fled after she raised the alarm.
SHO Maneesh Saxena of Surajpur Police Station said “…we filed an FIR for rape attempt and house trespass against the accused” he continued saying they had to pick his brother who is also a guard in order to trace Raj.
“The accused guard was finally found hiding in a bathroom of a vacant flat. He was arrested,” Saxena added.
The accuse admitted that he recklessly walked into the flat as he was drunk thinking it to be a vacant one said the Police, HT reported.
