The Health Minister Dr Laxma Reddy said that the state government was taking all steps to eradicate dengue in the state.
Replying to a question raised by the BJP member NVSS Prabhakar in the Legislative Assembly here on Thursday, Laxma Reddy said that the state government has kept platelet machines in 12 places across the state. Admitting that dengue cases increased in the state, Laxma Reddy said that four persons died due to dengue including two in Hyderabad city. He said that the government has taken up programme to eradicate mosquitoes and included dengue in Arogya Sri scheme. (NSS)
