Hyderabad, September 13: Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Tuesday directed the officials to maintain transparency in the recruitment of 1,16,000 people to various posts in different departments, to be notified in December this year, in a transparent manner.
In a review meeting held on Tuesday evening at the State Secretariat, the Chief Minister asked the officials to engage the services of official recruiting agencies to notify all the jobs by December. Of 1,16,000 jobs in 28 departments, a majority of 27,379 job would be provided in Education Department, 20,122 in Home Department, 12,244 in Energy Department and 8,340 jobs posts would be created or filled in Revenue Department. This recruitment would be just 10 per cent of the 10 lakh jobs that the government proposes to provide in the next three years.
Kiran Kumar Reddy also directed that Hyderabad should be included for the recruitment of sub-inspectors’ posts. Efforts would also be made to make maximum recruitment for Group-I and Group-II services through Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission.
The review meeting was attended by Chief Secretary SV Prasad, DGP V Dinesh Reddy and other senior officials. (INN)
