To improve services the Government will soon recruit veterinary doctors in the state, Animal Husbandary and Dairy Development Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav said.
The minister held a meeting with leaders of dairy and allied sectors and promised to send a team to other states to implement plans to improve their living standards. Later, addressing a press conference after a review meeting with the officials concerned here at Secretariat the minster said that the posts of doctors and other staff to be filled up through department selection committee. Though it was decided to press in TSPSC to recruit veterinary doctors, there were objections forced us to fill up the posts through department selection committee he said. NCDC funds will be used if necessary for the purpose he said adding that the government will come up with a plan in this regard.
The minister also promised to take all measures to develop dairy wing and allied sectors in the state. The minister is to take up district wise tours to assess the situation in dairy and allied sectors and to prepare plan of action to provide succor. Srinivas Yadav will make a tour to Nalgonda district on May 18. (NSS)
