California: Following a New York Times report about sexual misconduct by executives at tech giant Google and its parent company Alphabet, an executive at the company’s X research division, formerly known as Google X, has resigned.
Rich DeVaul was a director of Google X and co-founded the internet-centric Project Loon. Google had recently announced that employees terminated over such misconducts are not provided with any exit package.
In line with that, DeVaul resigned and did not receive an exit package, Axios reported. Devaul allegedly told an interviewee that he and his wife were polyamorous and then made unwanted advances toward her a week later.
