Ghaziabad, April 08: 16 girls of a government school in Jalalpur village here have lodged a complaint against their teacher, accusing him of molesting them, police said today.
The girls, in their complaint against English teacher Krishna Avtar Tyagi (55), have said that he used to molest them and passed lewd comments on the girls in the school.
The girls were of VI, VII and VIII standard at Jalalpur government school in Muradnagar block.
Police have lodged an FIR under section 354 (molestation) of the IPC and the copy of the complaint has been sent to district education department for his suspension, SP, Rural (SPR) M M Beg said, adding that the accused is absconding but he would be arrested soon.
