Gilgit, September 30: At least four people were killed and eight wounded in shootings by unidentified persons in Gilgit on Wednesday.
Dead bodies and injured have been taken to hospitals.
Security has been intensified in the region in view of the presence of Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani in Gilgit.
The forces have started patrolling in the area after the incident.
