In continuation of the arrests in the sensational case related to unauthorized Mutation of Property Documents by entering false details in concerned GHMC database through Fake IDs illegally, the Cyber Crime PS, Hyderabad City today apprehended yet another beneficiary accused, involved in such illegal mutation of property for personal benefits.
The accused (A-4 was identified as Katta Koteswara Rao, 59, of Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. It may be mentioned here that on April 19 the Cyber crime police apprehended three accused B. Polaiah, Data Entry Operator at GHMC for Mutations of property and Lakhan Singh and a beneficiary Khaja Qutubuddin. Another accused Jagdish, IT Programmer of GHMC was absconding.
The Cyber Crime Police apprehended Katta Koteswara Rao of Sreeram Nagar, Banjara Hills, who was involved in a civil dispute pertaining to a land admeasuring 249 square yards situated at Gouri Shankar Nagar Road No: 11, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad with one Ramabai and others. With the help of Polaiah, Lakhan Singh and one Mahesh (absconding) and other accomplices, he got the said property mutations illegally transferred on his name, without any documents, by paying Rs. 15,000 to the conmen and their team of goons arrested earlier. The arrested beneficiary K. Koteswara Rao was being sent to Judicial Remand.
The general public are cautioned not to fall a prey to such conmen and always approach the proper officials for mutation of their properties. Even the beneficiaries involved in such illegal acts will be dealt with iron hand. The victims of such frauds having their property mutations in any other name may approach the police.
