Known for its Californian cuisine to the Indian food palate, The Hungry Monkey is taking experimenting with food to the next level.
In collaboration with ‘I Say Organic’, the outlet is all set for its one-month long food festival specially designed to promote organic and vegan eating habits in foodies.
“The Hungry Monkey and I Say Organic have come together to bring to its customers a menu that focuses on local produce sourced straight from the farmers and showcased keeping in mind the true flavors and textures of the ingredients,” said Chef Noah Barnes, Executive Chef at The Hungry Monkey, Tabula Beach, Arriba-Mexican Grill and Tequileria.
Illustrating more about organic food products Chef Barnes added, “Organic ingredients are those that have been sourced from farms that use zero chemicals or pesticides to grow the produce, ingredients are allowed to grow through their natural pace and reserves all its nutritive value. This in turn is truely nourishing from the health point of view, which is not available in the junk food.”
As the quality of life is deteriorating with increased use of processed food products in ones daily diet, organic food components have become a crucial need for an active body. Therefore, a festival which specializes on organic and vegetarian food is the need of the hour.
With specially curated menu for the fest, The Hungry Monkey aims to bring forth mouth watering dishes prepared by using pure and organic products gathered directly from the farms in their most natural form.
“The menu has been designed keeping in mind, utmost respect to every ingredient, its texture, flavor and nutritive value have been carefully tested to use only the right cooking technique and hence elevating a simple everyday ingredient,” added chef Barnes.
