New Delhi [India]: Making someone laugh or bringing smile on one’s face is the toughest job for one.
Laughing is more surreal than smiling and that is exactly what comedy platform Punchliners intends to do- to spread awareness and creates demand for comedy in the country.
Punchliners, founded in 2016 by A. Anand, intends to spread awareness and communicate humour to the audience and “provide talent to the industry.”
While speaking to ANI, Anand said, “We foresee to create our audience base by spreading across major metro cities and penetrating into tier two cities.”
Adding, “We target the audience of 18-40 bracket and it’s a self funded platform.”
A few famous artists who have actively leaded the spotlight under Punchliners are Amit Tandon, Jeeveshu, Niti Palta and Sorabh Pant.
Speaking about them, Anand said, “We had premium artists to see where we stand in the market and now we are trying to bring up the underground artists and provide them platform to showcase their talent.” (ANI)
