The 2nd edition of the Delhi Food Truck Festival (DFTF) is scheduled to begin from November 11 at the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium here.
“With more than 40 food truck brands, over 30 F&B stall, a mega bar and an exclusive sheesha lounge, the second edition of DFTF will be bringing forth mouth watering and sumptuous cuisines from across the globe. Coupled with interesting games and fun activities and live music, we assure a fun filled food and musical extravaganza,” says Abhishek Deo, Founder and Festival Director at DFTF.
Food trucks, an innovative and cost effective way to launch your dream restaurant, have taken up young entrepreneurs by storm.
“Already a rage in Delhi-NCR, the business of food trucks is multiplying in other metros as well. To facilitate the young and promising food truck entrepreneurs and give them a platform to showcase their F&B skills to the audience at large, DFTF was launched in April this year,” added Abhishek.
“The response of the debut DFTF from all the stakeholders exceeded everyone’s expectations and gave us the strength to give even better experience to the Delhi foodies this winter with the 2nd edition of DFTF,” said Deo.
“We are working hard to bring an enthralling experience to the audience with the best food, music and fun. A lot of excitement is being thrown with an array of competition and games along with a plethora of celebrity chefs and food critics being invited to taste the delicacies and encourage the young food truckers,” says Pradeep Sharma, Director VMS Events
Some of the food truck brands include : Lalit Food Truck (Mexican & Italian), Celebrations Express (Shakes & fast food), Hunger Theka (Continental & Italian), Pop Stick kPop (Ice Cream), Thyme (Continental, Lebanese, Fast Food), BBQ, Lobo (Continental, Fusion), Crazy Trucker (Mexican, Chinese & Italian), Freezeup (Ice Creams & Desserts), Road Side Roaster (Mexican, Awadhi, American & Fusion), Doggy Style (Sandwiches & Hotdogs), Burnout (Mexican & Italian), Tongue Twisters (Ice Cream), Rumi’s Kitchen (Awadhi), etc.
There will be live performances by bands like Knox Artiste, Zikr Band, DJ Basspatch, Bollywood Brothers and Mankirt Aulakh. (ANI)
