Gastro conference to be held at KIMS on April 29-30

Hyderabad: Doctors from various parts of the country will participate the two-day conference on “Frontiers and Future perspectives in GI Physiology and Functional GI diseases” to be held at KIMS Hospitals, Secunderabad on April 29-30.

Gastrointestinal and digestive complaints such as abdominal pain, bloating, nausea, burping and constipation will be discussed and crucial insights on gastroenterology will be provided.

As reported by the Times of India, the conference will witness participation of gastroenterologists who would be exposed to inputs and updates on challenges in motility, treatment and management, and also bring up new trends.

Dr Nitesh Pratap, senior consultant, KIMS Hospitals, and organising secretary of the conference, said “Motility abnormality conditions can mimic serious diseases and confuse both the doctors and the patient. Examining and excluding an underlying organic disease is an important step in gastrointestinal practice. Hence it is an effective platform to deliberate on motility issues that have been plaguing mankind chronically.”
