Fun, nostalgia at St Francis College fest

Hyderabad, February 28: It was a day of fun, frolic and nostalgia for those who gathered at St. Francis Degree College which celebrated its 52nd annual college day today. The programme was high on entertainment as the students unleashed their hidden talents on the stage. Staff and parents of students, apart from alumni of the college, attended the programme.

Smita Sabharwal, joint collector, Hyderabad, who is an alumni of the college, was the chief guest at the event.

Reminiscing her days at the college, Smita said she was visiting the college after 13 years. She felt that students of the college were lucky to have access to quality education with the best facilities.Stressing on the need for young civil servants in the country, she encouraged them to take a shot at the civils.

Tapaas Chakravarthi, chairman and CEO, DQ Entertainments, said he was a proud parent as his daughter was studying in the college.
