Hyderabad, December 13: A special issue titled ‘Sri Venkateswara Bhakthi Channelnu Kaapadokondi’ (Save the SV Bhakthi Channel), brought out by The Sri Venkateswara Bhati Channel Victims Sangham (SVBCVS) was released here today by Mr C.V.L. Narasimharao, president of ‘Raksha’ and High Court Lawyer.
Speaking to the media on the occasion, SVBCVS president Mr J.L Srinivas demanded that the government should re-appoint the employees who were dismissed by TTD Eexecutive Officer. He said that the governement should immediately implement the three-member Committee report, and take action against officials who have committed fraud in recruiting the channel employees The Committee has clearly stated that if needed, the recruitment should be done in a transparent manner, through notification and interviews, with the permission of Channel Board Chairman.
He alleged that the E.O has not taken the permission of the Chairman and recruited some employees illegally.
He alleged the channel E.O had dismissed employees all of a sudden without any prior notice to them and in an arbitrary manner.
He said that C.E.O had also failed to follow the recommendations of the three-member committee and invited tenders for construction of new Studios for shooting and recording of the programs, and committed fraud in studio construction also.
He said that they would file a case in the Supreme Court on the frauds in Bhakti channel. He demanded that the Endowments Minister should take action against the Bhakti channal E.O and order an enquiry in to the Bhakti Channel scam. (NSS)
