New Delhi: Four persons were injured when another group with whom they had tiff over money fired at them in southwest Delhi’s Uttam Nagar area, police said today.
The injured persons have been identified as Akram(28), Sajid(28), Sushil(34) and Devender(35) and were shot at last night, the police said.
A PCR call was made and a team arrived and rushed the injured to the hospital. They are currently out of danger.
Few people, who are suspected to be involved in the firing have been detained.
“These people have been involved in gambling. It is suspected that they had a monetary tussle with another group of people but we are investigating the matter,” said a senior police officer.
A case under relevant sections has been registered and arrests are likely to happen soon, the officer added.
