Vijayawada: AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today said he was feeling happy to cast vote to NDA presidential candidate Ramnath Kovind.
Addressing a meeting held at A Convention Centre here on Tuesday, Chandrababu said Prime Minister Narendra Modi informed him over telephone about Ramnath Kovind’s selection as NDA presidential candidate. “I immediately extended my support to Ramnath Kovind”, he stated. Chandrababu said Ramnath Kovind joined BJP some 26 years ago and has no dispute on any issue. Ramnath Kovind has all eligibilities to become President of India, he explained. He also said Narendra Modi was extending all cooperation for the development of Andhra Pradesh State.
Exuding confidence that victory of Ramnath Kovind was sure, Chandrababu said Kovind efficiently performed in many positions in BJP. He reminded that Kovind strived for the uplift of Dalits and backward classes. He said all members of his party would cast their votes to Kovind. There was a need to the Centre to extend cooperation further as Andhra Pradesh was facing division problems.
