A 20-year-old girl committed suicide allegedly due to failure in love.
According to Amberpet police, the deceased, S. Sirisha, took the extreme step at her residence in Prem Nagar by hanging to the ceiling on Tuesday night. She was a B. Tech student.
In another case, K. Ramakrishna, 48, who had consumed turpentine at his residence in Poppalaguda on Tuesday night, died at Gandhi Hospital today. He was a watchman and resorted to the extreme step in inebriated condition, according to Narsingi police.
In separate cases, three persons committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling at their residences on Tuesday night. The deceased persons, M. Rajender (25), a realtor of Meerpet, Y. Ravi (20) of Malkajgiri and B. Yesu (31) of Chandanagar, took the extreme step allegedly due to financial problems. (INN)
