Three killed in road accidents

A 38-year-old man succumbed to the injuries which he sustained after he was hit by a lorry.

The accident occurred near Sriram Nagar of Mailardevpally police limits on Tuesday night. The victim, K. Shankar of Anand Nagar of Budwel, sustained grievous injuries and was admitted to the Osmania General Hospital where he died today.

In another case, Ahmed Hussain, 60, of Golconda Chota Bazar, died of injuries which he suffered after he was hit and run by an unidentified vehicle near Langar Houz. He met with the accident on Tuesday night and died at a private hospital on Wednesday while undergoing treatment.

In a different case, Yata Kumar, 38, was killed while his friends Krishna and Jangaiah were injured when the car they were travelling lost control and turned turtle after hitting a road divider near ORR Pedda Amberpet on Tuesday night. They were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where Kumar was declared brought dead. He was a businessman and resident of Koremala, according to Hayathnagar police. (INN)
