The two-day fish medicine distribution program came to an end peacefully at Nampally Exhibition Grounds on Friday as a large number of people from Northern states came to get fish prasadam.
Bathina Harinath Goud brothers said they will distribute fish prasadam at Dudhbowli in old city also. As the two-day mega event of went off peacefully, the officials heaved a sigh of relief.
Fisheries Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav expressed happiness over the smooth and successful completion of the fish prasadam distribution without any disturbance. The minister said that 60,292 fish lings were sold. He greeted the officials of various departments for better coordination in making arrangements. Besides various districts, most of the people came from other States for fish prasadam to get rid of Asthma and related health problems. Srinivas Yadav extended thanks to GHMC, Police, Metro Water Works for arrangements and voluntary organizations for arranging meals at the venue. (NSS)
