Hyderabad, May 27: The Bathini Goud brothers will administer the ‘fish medicine’ to Asthma patients for 24 hours from 10:15 PM of June 8.
The Bathini Goud brothers told media persons on Thursday that the ‘fish medicine’ would be administered from June 8 till 10:15 PM on June 9, as Mrigishira Karti Nakshatra falls in the first week of June.
The brothers stated that like for the past few years, the medicine would be administered at the Exhibition Grounds in Nampally.
This would the 165th year since the tradition of administration of the ‘secret fish medicine’ began, by their great grandfather Bathini Veeranna Goud, a toddy tapper.
The brothers said they have appealed to the police department to make proper arrangements so that the lakhs of people expected to arrive in the city would be put the least possible inconvenience.
The Bathini brothers further stated that the medicine stuffed inside a small murrel fish effectively negotiates the phlegm congestion and provides 100 percent cure for the disease.
They said three doses of the extra medicine will be provided to patients, which is to be taken every fifteen days in the duration of 45 days, under strict diet control for 45 days.
