Sitamarhi: A complaint has been filed against Rashtriya Lok Samta Party (RLSP) MP Ram Kumar Sharma in a police station of Bihar’s Sitamarhi for allegedly violating the Model Code of Conduct (MCC).
District Magistrate Ranneet Kumar on Sunday gave the order to lodge an FIR.
Sharma violated the MCC after he announced the start of an ambulance service in his district.
The MCC, which bars government in power to announce any new decisions, came into effect on Sunday after Election Commission announced dates for the 17th Lok Sabha polls.
