Hyderabad: On the charges of being lethargic in the implementation of Minorities Residential Schools Scheme in Nizamabad District, incharge, District Minorities Welfare Officer, Nizamabad, Mr. Prem Kumar has been suspended.
It may be mentioned that during the recent visit of Mr. A.K. Khan, IPS, DGP, ACB and Vice President of Minorities Schools’ Residential Society at Nizamabad, there was disruption in the function. As a result of which, Mr. A.K. Khan had to leave the function.
Mr. Shafiullah, MD of Minorities Finance Corporation issued the suspension orders of Prem Kumar. Earlier, he had issued a charge memo for not getting sufficient number of applications for admissions into Minorities Residential Schools. Despite this memo, there was no increase in the number of applications. Mr. Prem Kumar failed to muster the support of the local persons and voluntary organizations. During the visit of Mr. A.K. Khan, various political groups strangled with each other and Mr. Khan had to leave the place.
