Hyderabad: The Telangana government today promoted some officials in the rank of Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) to the Director General of Police (DGP) rank.
It also promoted a few officials in the rank of Inspector General of Police (IGP) to the ADGP and also promoted and transferred some Superintendents of Police.
ADGP Tejdeep Kaur Menon has been promoted to the rank of DGP and posted as Director General, Special Protection Force, and ADGP Sudeep Lakhtakia, was promoted to the rank of DGP and posted as Director General and Ex. Officio Principal Secretary, Vigilance & Enforcement, as per the orders issued by the Telangana government.
Additional Commissioner of Police Law & Order, Hyderabad city, Anjani Kumar, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Law & Order.
IGP Rajiv Ratan, was promoted to the rank of ADGP, and posted as Director General, Fire Service & Disaster Management, the orders said.
