Ex-MLA demands Jogu Ramanna’s ouster from cabinet

Former MLA and Adilabad DCC president Maheshwar Reddy has lashed out at the State government for not making the police to arrest accused Jogu Preminder in connection with the murder of Congress activist Tirupati Reddy.

 

Speaking to the media here on Saturday, Maheshwar Reddy revealed that Director General of Police Anurag Sharma had agreed to hand over the Tirupati Reddy’s murder case to the CID. He demanded that the State government drop Jogu Ramanna from the State cabinet to ensure that the inquiry into the murder case go on in perfect manner. He also demanded that the State government extend Rs 10 lakh ex gratia to the bereaved family.

It may be recalled that the Adilabad police have registered a murder case against Forest & Environment Minister Jogu Ramanna’s son Jogu Preminder along with his friends. (NSS)
