Mumbai, March 05: Apparently frustrated for failing in his examination, a 23-year-old mechanical engineering student allegedly committed suicide at his residence in suburban Borivali, police said today.
The deceased, identified as Rahul Gandhi (23), a third year student of Vartak College at Vasai in neighbouring Thane district, was found hanging from the celing fan with a dupatta at his residence in Govind Chhaya building last night, police said.
Rahul seemed upset after he learnt through the internet that he failed in three subjects, police said.
