Telangana State Employees Association today welcomed the formation of new districts. They called on Chief Secretary Dr Rajiv Sharma at Secretariat here and discussed on the new districts plan and then extended support.
Later talking to reporters Association leaders including MLA Srinivas Goud and Devi Prasad and others demanded that the government cancel the present zonal system. We have asked the government to cancel the zonal system as it will hamper the interests of the employees of the state they said. They said that they have strongly pitched for changing the service rules. They also sought the government to take up district wise appointments and make state level allocations. (NSS)
