Hyderabad: Due to the farsightedness of CM of Telangana Mr. KCR and the untiring efforts of the officials of Genco and Transco, the supply of electricity was uninterrupted to domestic and agricultural consumers. CM formulated comprehensive plans for the supply of electricity to help the farmers.
These details were given in the Assembly by Mr. Jagadesh Reddy, Minister for Energy while participating in the discussions. He further mentioned that Govt. of Telangana has sent proposals to Central Govt. for replacing the old electricity lines in Telangana State and made a request to allocate additional funds to solve energy crisis. In his statement he mentioned that A.P. Govt. did not give 53% of electricity for Telangana. He stated that T-State is getting 1559 MW energy from A.P. and 2038 MW energy from the Center.
