Bihar: The analysis of the list of candidates for Bihar election depicts that 30% (174 out of total 583) candidates have mentioned in their nomination that they are facing criminal charges. BJP has the largest number of candidates with criminal backgrounds.
The charges include attempts to murder, communal tension, kidnapping and atrocities against women. 14 out of 27 candidates belonging to BJP are facing criminal charges.
