Lucknow, January 05: Making all possible arrangements for free and fair polls during the biennial elections to 36 seats of the Uttar Legislative Council from the Local Bodies, the Election Commission has put its effort to ensure peace during the constituencies on January 7.
Prior to the elections, opposition parties particularly Samajwadi Party has already put its suspicion of horse-trading by the ruling party and told the authorities about apprehensions.
The contestants have started wooing voters in their favor in full extreme, as the campaign will stop by the evening.
UP Chief Electoral Officer(CEO) Umesh Sinha asserted that observers, mirco observers would be deployed in each of the 923 polling booths to decide the fate of 193 candidates for the 36 seats in 35 local bodies constitutuencies, Mathura-Etah- Mainpuri constituency have two seats.
