AMBIENCE/DECOR

The new kid on the block is for the traveled, edgy, cultured, journey freaks, free spirited, laid back and witty folks.

Owned by Mr. Dinesh Arora, Tourist Janpath is the latest tavern for the wayfarers, which escalates over 12000 sq ft, extravagantly covering three floors.

The place represents the journey of a “traveler” through the interiors like the youth hostel, hiking, backpacking, airport flipboard showcasing signature dishes, live train, travel library, live kitchen along with the crockery displayed in the forefront, laidback beach seats in a relaxing sandy setting and not to forget the special VIP lounge.

It also boasts of a suspended stage for rock bands and live music, notwithstanding its own Tourist Radio channel. Not only this, Tourist also exhibits a beautiful street market inspired from the streets of Janpath.

A majestic rooftop, slated to be one of the biggest in Connaught Place, is an exclusive feature of the new watering hole.

DUDE FOOD

The global street food is of course the reason why people would head to this place. The menu comes in a form of four short Passport type booklets and is divided into four sections- SOUTH ASIA, EU & UK, FAR WEST and FAR EAST.

250 cuisines from over 40 countries from 7 continents, is what the place offers to give your taste buds a new experience.

Tourist ensures that the travel freaks are surely in for a rollercoaster gastronomical journey, relishing and reliving their wanderlust experiences through the smacking dishes from all around the world.

Signature Dishes from the global menu like Lamb Aryas, Brown sugar chicken, Soya Sawarma, Jammu Kaladi and Bombay Bits are a must try.

Other significant dishes namely Sarafa Keys, Soin Toin CH1, Chilled Rice Pepper, Summer Rolls, Lemon Grass Chicken, Pot Stickers, Brick Lane Pudge, Canadian Cobler and Phoenix Cheese Cake will make your day heavenly sinful.

If you want to feed your sweet tooth, Chocolate Paan Shots of Bombay, Berry and Rum flavored thickened cream Panna Cotta from Italy and “Darsaan” from China will come to your rescue.
