Deputy Chief Minister Mahamood Ali today said that efforts would be made to set up new Government Junior College and Degree College in Cantonment constituency to extend higher education to all. Launching three Minority residential Boys schools as part of third phase at Malakpet, Bahadurpura and Cantonment constituency areas he said that the government launched the KG to PG scheme for offering free and intensifying education to the poor. I will take up the matter with Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to setup these colleges he said.
Mahamood Ali also asked the students to emulate former President APJ Abdul Kalam who rose to top level by putting in serious efforts in education for better future. Telangana Government is for the development of all sectors and efforts are on to strengthen the education sector and launching residential schools for SC, ST categories. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is offering top priority for old city development and giving Rs 10 lakh non refundable loan to Muslim Minorities for pursuing higher education abroad he said. This is indeed a golden opportunity for the Muslim Minorities to study and grow the deputy chief minister said and distributed books to some children on the occasion. (NSS)
