Hyderabad: Hyderabad city traffic Police cancelled the licenses of 65 persons who were driving vehicles in drunken condition.
It may be noted that traffic police found 1162 persons who were driving the vehicles in intoxicated condition during the month of September 2018.
Traffic police filed charge sheets in the 3rd and 4th Metropolitan Magistrate’s Courts.
In the month of September, 389 persons were given punishment where the driving license of 65 persons were cancelled or suspended. The court also imposed a fine of Rs. 29,68,200 for violation of traffic rules by the commuters.
Those who were sentenced to imprisonment were sent to Central Jail, Chanchalguda.
