Dismissed constable plans private police stations in state

Terminated constable, Giri Prasad Sarma, has requested the unemployed youth and ex-service men to join him in creation of private police stations at every village state-wide. He appealed AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi, to take the initiative in bringing necessary reforms in the working style of MLAs and MPs, so as to control corruption and relevant crimes.

Speaking to the media persons here on Saturday, Sarma exuded confidence that all sort of crimes including sensitive issues and also Terrorism would be dealt with in a unique way and justice will be done to all, irrespective of weaker sections and people of poor back ground, through the private police stations .

He estimated that there are about 1000 villages in each of the 23 districts of the State and in each of the 23,000 private police stations, about 25 private cops are needed.

In this regard, he thanked A. Bhasker Reddy, Ravi Kumar, some Lawyers, for extending their support to the move.
