Did Rahul Gandhi buy BJP MP?, KTR asks Uttam

Hyderabad: TRS working president KT Rama Rao today lashed out at TPCC Chief N Utham Kumar Reddy for charging that the TRS has purchased their two Tribal MLAs — Atram Sakku and Rega Kantha Rao — only to destabilize it in the ensuing MLC polls on March 12.

Addressing the media along with ministers Srinivas Yadav and Srinivas Goud at Telangana Bhavan, KTR expressed displeasure at the Congress for indulging in loose talk. “It was not new that some leaders shift loyalties in politics and we have to go further by taking decisions. Uttam has to clarify on such defections they encouraged so far”, he asked. The TPCC leadership should also clarify whether they purchased leaders like Revanth Reddy, K Vishweshwar Reddy and others.

KTR slammed AICC chief Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi whether they bought BJP MP to join the Congress fold. He rejected the Congress remarks as baseless. He claimed that the Congress leaders or others are joining the TRS fold to develop their segments. The Congress should stop false charges, he suggested.

KTR asked the Congress leaders to stop loose talk to insult the tribal leaders. The two MLAs gave a joint statement to join the ruling party for development of their segments, he added. He said Congress leaders indulging in blame game as they cannot win the hearts of the people.
