New Delhi :Delhiites today woke up to a bright and windy morning with the minimum temperature settling at 24.6 degrees Celsius, which was two notches below the season’s average.
Safdarjung observatory, considered the official reading of the city, received 3.8 mm rainfall till 8.30 AM in the last 24 hours while Lodhi Road recorded 6 mm rainfall, a MeT official said.
Areas under Palam, Ridge and Ayanagar weather stations did not receive any rainfall in the last 24 hours.
The MeT Department has predicted that skies will remain cloudy during the day.
“The skies will be generally cloudy. The maximum temperature is expected to settle at 36 degrees Celsius,” said the weatherman.
Humidity was recorded at 79 per cent at 8.30 AM.
Yesterday, the minimum temperature had settled at 27 degrees Celsius while the maximum was recorded at 33.9 degrees Celsius, both normal for this time of the season.
