New Delhi, Sept 15 (ANI): The Delhi Government on Tuesday held a meeting to discuss various options on action to be taken against those private hospitals which deny admission to dengue patients.
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)-led Delhi Goverment had today asked BJP controlled Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) to take immediate steps to halt the spread of dengue.
The Centre has asked the Delhi Government to increase the bed strength in hospitals and to initiate action against private hospital, which are over charging the patients.
The Delhi Government on Monday also cancelled the leaves of all doctors and para-medical staff to counter the rising cases of dengue in the national capital.
Earlier, the government had launched helpline number 011-23307145 to assist the dengue patients here. The Central Government has also asked the Delhi Government to increase the bed strength in the hospitals and to initiate action against the private hospitals, which are over charging the patients.
