Decision on Teacher Posts after court verdict: Kadiam

 Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari today said the State government will take a decision on Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) after the court delivered its verdict.

Interacting with mediapersons at Assembly Lobbies after Speaker S Madhusudana Chary adjourned the House sine die, the Deputy Chief Minister said they will submit an affidavit in the court on November 21 in this regard. The government, which released a notification to fill Teacher posts in the new districts, will take a decision followed by court verdict, he remarked. Recruitment will be taken up as per the norms and denied to comment on Private Universities Bill which is to take final shape.

To a query on Private Universities Bill, Srihari said there are six varsities vying to come up and yet to take a call. Referring to Ambedkar statue installation, he said the committee concerned finalized one of the two designs. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is to take a final call on the design of Ambedkar statue. The government will call global tenders for the purpose and some local people are expected to participate in the process. He ridiculed that some leaders of Andhra Pradesh indulged in irregularities, collapsed banks and other sectors and stuck to posts. (NSS)
