The Cyberabad Police on Monday arrested four notorious habitual offenders of Day-cum-Night burglaries and recovered stolen property worth nearly Rs 40 lakh.
According to the police the accused were involved in as many as 33 cases of burglaries in the limits of Cyberabad and Hyderabad Commissionerates. The arrests were made by the Special Operation Team (SOT) of Cyberabad and CCS Balanagar who recovered 1.03 Kgs gold and 5.20 Kgs silver ornaments, all worth Rs 40,00,000.
The accused have been identified as Mohd Khaleel, Mohd Sarvar, Allam Suresh and Palnati Rakesh, all aged between 23-33 years. The accused, Khaleel, is a City Dossier Criminal (CDC No. 2146) of Nallakunta Police Station. He was arrested and sent to jail 16 times.
The other accused too had criminal backgrounds. (INN)
