CS reviews status of IX and X Schedule institutions

AP Chief Secretary I.Y.R. Krishna Rao chaired a meeting today with all the Secretaries to review on Status of IX and X Schedule institutions, Inter Departmental References – Single File System, Sourcing of funds from Government of India, Preparation of Shelf Projects for Externally Added Projects (EAP), implementation of e-Office system, Mission, Growth Engines and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) action plan.

Dr P.V. Ramesh has briefed through power point presentation on the budget allocation, distribution to all the operational units as approved by the legislature which has mentioned in the Budget Estimates for the financial year 2015-16. The Chief Secretary has issued instructions that all the Officers should actively interact with the Resident Commissioner, A.P. Bhavan, New Delhi through Portal to obtain funds from Government of India for centrally sponsored schemes.

While reviewing on the Mandals merged in Twin Godavari Districts from Khammam District, Chief Secretary directed the officials of School Education Department to ensure within a week make all the Schools of these Mandals should be functional by drafting Teachers on regular basis and as well as Public Health Department. Reviewing on E-Office Chief Secretary said that the Government of Andhra Pradesh is on its way to make its offices paperless which already implemented a digital workplace system in the State Secretariat. Implementation and usage of e-Office system was made mandatory in all the Departments and the system would eliminate manual file movement in the government by automating the process is aimed in bringing-out the efficiency, transparency and accountability in the functioning of Line Departments in the State, Sri Krishna Rao said. Spl. Chief Secretary Sri S.P. Tucker has explained about Key Performance Indicators (KPI) on double digit growth in the Social sector and action plan initiated on other Sectors to increase the growth rate.
