Revanth’s bail is temporary: TRS

TRS leader Jeevan Reddy today said the High Court granted only a temporary bail and not a permanent one to TDP leader Revanth Reddy.

Speaking to mediapersons here on Tuesday, the TRS legislator ridiculed the TDP leaders and family members for celebrating Revanth’s bail. He expressed surprise as to how the TD men can celebrate. His remarks assume significance as the ACB is gearing up to move the Supreme Court in a couple of days against the bail. The bail is temporary and the investigation is to slap notices and book other key players behind the cash row, he said.
The TRS leader made it clear that the High Court issued orders for a temporary bail with conditions and the case is yet to be completed. The TD leaders should keep in mind that the court gave Revanth Reddy and others a conditional bail, he said. The ACB sleuths are investigating into the cash-for-vote scam and two more accused are yet to give their version in this regard, Reddy said. He said the High Court issued only a conditional bail to Revanth Reddy after one month jail. The law will take its own course and the TDP leader will not go scot-free, he said. (NSS)
