Kolkata, April 02: Under pressure for his team’s dismal show in IPL III, Kolkata Knight Riders skipper Sourav Ganguly today said outside things have never worried him as he always had faith in his abilities.
Following four losses by the Knight Riders, there had been demonstration in South Kolkata today against Ganguly but the ace left-hander said that’s okay once in a while.
“I have never looked at life this way. The day you pick up cricket till the day you finish, you will always be under pressure to perform. It’s the same with everyone,” said Ganguly, who hit a 54-ball 88 to guide KKR to a 24-run win over Deccan Chargers.
“Even Sachin Tendulkar is under pressure to perform.
Outside things have never worried me. I had faith in myself all througout my career. If I was not good enough, I would not have been here,” he said.
