Killer Swami arrested
Hyderabad, December 31 (Siasat News): Chaitanyapuri police has arrested a Swami involved in the murder of a woman.
According to ACP L B Nagar Mr. Amrinder Reddy, the Swami Kottapally Janardhan Cahri, said to be the brother-in-law of the deceased has been arrested in the sensational murder committed on October 18.
The murderer took advantage of the loneliness of his sister-in-law Rajani and had killed her just for the sake of 18 tolas gold.
Police has recovered the stolen gold also.
Teacher’s harassment led student to suicide
Hyderabad, December 31 (Siasat News): A student took the extreme step of suicide by hanging after he was harassed by his teacher.
This incident occurred in Meerpet police station limits where 15-year-old Santosh Varaprasad committed suicide in his house.
The parents of the accused alleged his teacher for harassing him. He was the student of class IX of Basham School.
Yesterday, his Telugu teacher had reprimanded him for showing negligence towards his studies and had made him stand outside the class.
He was very upset over this. According to the police, the teacher is absconding. A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
Woman murdered
Hyderabad, December 31 (Siasat News): A woman was brutally killed by some unknown persons in Seetartam Baug of Mallepally.
According to police Mangalhaat, 45-year-old Saroopa was working as an attender in Saifabad Degree College. She was killed in an attack by unknown persons.
The murder came to light when her daughter reached home from college. It is said that Saroopa was killed with heavy bags of rice as the wounds on her head suggested.
The motto behind this killing is yet to be ascertained. Police Mangalhaat has registered a case and investigating.
