House maid arrested for theft

(Siasat News): Charminar police has arrested the house maid who had fled after stealing the gold ornaments at her employer’s house.

In the meantime, assistant commissioner of police, Charminar Mr. Ashok Chakravorthy said the maid Gayathri Jagdevi, 32, native of Bhalki in Karnataka who was absconding after stealing the gold ornaments from the house of one Yogesh Gupta, a medical trader where Gayathri was working as a maid.

Following the complaint of Mr. Gupta, police has come into action and raided her house at Attapur. Though she had fled to her native place, the stolen jewelleries were recovered from her Attapur house.

Charminar police kept on trying and the efforts produced good results as the accused was nabbed within eight hours in Zaheerabad.

She was arrested and produced before the media. Later, she was produced in the court and from there sent to jail.

Man brutally murdered at Madhapur

(Siasat News): A youth was brutally murdered at Madhapur last night who is yet to be identified.

However, Madhapur police, in its preliminary investigations completed the identification process of the deceased and revealed that he was one Aqeel, 22, a painter by profession and resident of Borabanda.

Last night, some unidentified persons took him to Jubilee Hills in an auto and killed him at Madhapur.

Madhapur inspector Mr. Narsimlu said that police suspect that Shahrukh, Afzal, Asif and others are the suspects in this murder case.

Hooch seller arrested

(Siasat News): Mailardevpally police has arrested a man for selling illicit liquor packets from his home.

The inspector of Mailardevpally patrolling party said that the accused Pasha, 45, was selling illicit liquor (Gudamaba) packets from his home situated at Venkateshwara colony in Kattedan.

150 packets are seized from his possession and he was handed over to judicial custody.

Missing man’s dead body found

(Siasat News): Alwal Police has recovered the dead body of a man from Hashmatpet talaab who mysteriously went missing. Police said that the deceased Pentaiah, 38, was the resident of Warsiguda.

He had left his house on August 22 but did not return. However, on a tip-off, the police was told that a dead body was seen floating in the talaab.

Police came into action and fished out the dead body. A case has been registered and further investigations are on.

Fatal fall from building

(Siasat News): A labourer fell down on the ground in Chanchalguda where he was working in an under construction building. Inspector Chanchalguda said that the deceased was the native of Odisha and identified as one Naresh, 20.

During the work, he accidentally fell down on the ground and died instantly. The dead body is shifted to Osmania Hospital mortuary.

A case of accidental death is registered and further investigations are underway.
