Posing as Bank Manager, man arrested
(Siasat News): Cyberabad police has arrested a man who used to pose himself as a bank manager and collected the details of the bank accounts of many people.
Commissioner police Richakunda Mr. Mahesh Murlidhar Bhagwat had warned the general public to remain alert on such online frauds.
In the meantime, inspector police cyber crime Mr. Mohd. Riyazuddin said that police has arrested one Binod Mandal alias Manoj Mandal, native of Jharkhand, in thius connection.
The accused had deceived a citizen and made purchases online through his bank account. He had duped the citizen to the tune of Rs. 40,500.
He had posed himself as a bank manager and had obtained all the details such as ATM card number, date of expiry, cvv number and details of Aadhar card.
Further investigations are on.
Killer son-in-law arrested
(Siasat News): Langar Houz police has arrested the son-in-law who was involved in the murder of his mother-in-law.
In the meantime, inspector Langar Houz Mr. Mohd. Javed said that killer Shareef was arrested.
The accused had allegedly torched his mother-in-law alive on January 6 and had fled the scene ever since.
It was a petty matter of money and the accused had lost his cool and committed the crime. Police has handed over the accused to the judicial custody.
Student injured during kite flying, dies
(Siasat News): A 19-year-old boy Thakur Ayush Singh had fallen from the fifth floor of Saptagiri Apartments during kite flying on the day of Sankaranti and had sustained severe injuries.
He was the son of one Tulja Singh of Chandulal Baradari. As it was festival day, he had gone to Naraynaguda to meet his relatives and to enjoy kite flying.
But fate had something otherwise. During kite flying he had suspiciously lost his balance and fell off the 5th floor of the Pent House and badly injured.
He was taken to the hospital where he died during the treatment last night. Police Narayanguda is further investigating.
Another dowry death
(Siasat News): A woman committed suicide over the harassment for more dowry. This incident occurred in Saroornagar police limits.
Police sources said that the deceased Jagdeshwari, 24, was the wife of one Keshulu living at Brindavan Colony. They got married three years ago.
Keshulu was a private employee. However, he along with his other relatives started harassing Jagdeshwari for quite some time to bring more dowry.
When the harassment became unbearable for her, she took the extreme step of ending her life. Police is further investigating.
Man dies in train accident
(Siasat News): A man was fatally hit by a train when he was crossing the railway tracks between Kachiguda and Vidyanagar railway stations.
Railway police Kachiguda said that the deceased Ramesh, 35, was a labourer and hailed from Sanga Reddy. Yesterday, he was crossing the tracks without realizing that a train fast approaching him.
Kachiguda railway police has registered a case and further investigations are on.
Tiff between childless couple, husband ends life
(Siasat News): A tiff between husband and wife led the husband to commit suicide. This incident occurred at Aman Nagar in old city.
According to Rein Bazar police, 22-year-old Mohd. Chand was a painter. He got married with Hajera Fatima five years ago. However, the couple remained issueless.
On January 12, the duo had exchanged heated argument on a petty matter that led Chand to set himself ablaze. He was shifted to the hospital with burn injuries where he died last night during the treatment.
Police Rein Bazar has registered a case and further investigations are on.
