Jaipur: A 30-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in Shipra Path area of the city today.
Resident of Malpura town of Tonk district, Raja Ram was found dead at around 5.30 AM when a few morning-walkers reported police about the incident, SHO Shipra Path police station, Mukesh Chaudhary said.
He said that Raja Ram worked as a taxi driver in the city and was apparently undergoing depression which forced him to take the extreme step.
“We have sent the body for post-mortem,” he added.
Police have registered a case.
