Son-in-law set mother-in-law ablaze

(Siasat News): In a heart-wrenching incident occurred at Sardar Nagar in Langar Houz, a son-in-law torched his mother-in-law alive. Police said that 50-year-old Haseena Begum had sustained severe burn injuries when she was set ablaze by her son-n-law Syed Shareef.

Sub-inspector Langar Houz Mr. Venkateshwarulu said that the deceased was the widow of one Qasim and has been living at Sardar Nagar.

Her daughter Shabana and son-in-law Shareef were also living with her. The couple has a minor daughter.

On January 6, Shareef reached home in an inebriated condition where he had a tiff with his Haseena Begum and out of anger poured kerosene on her body and set her ablaze.

A case has been registered and further investigations are on.

Four die in road accidents

(Siasat News): Four persons including a woman died in different accidents occurred in Rajendranagar, Kesra and Narsingi police limits.

According to Rajndranagar police, 30-year-old Mohd. Arshad was a designer. Last night, he was sleeping on a heap of sand when a speeding lorry crushed him to death.

This accident occurred due to the negligence of the lorry driver.

Narsingi police said that 25-year-old woman Barika who was the wife of one Bhaskar Goud of Sadashivpet, was severely injured in a road accident and died in the hospital during the treatment.

According to Kesra police one Puroshottam Shyam Rao, 22, native of Maharashtra, was a labour. On January 7, he had reached Kesra with a DCM and after parking the vehicle, he was crossing the road when the speeding vehicle coming from opposite direction mowed him that proved fatal.

Kesra police further said that another man Ravinder, 24, resident of Nagaram, died when his car met with an accident.

Police has registered all the cases and further investigations are on.
